| Wanna run or walk with us? The Space has created a team that will participate in the Comer Children’s 5k Walk/Run this fall and we’d LOVE to have you join us. There are so many people involved in making this race as important as it is, but there are two people that need recognition in our Space community for this: Michele Seidl, who trains with Clare at The Space, is a member of the Comer Children’s Hospital Women’s Board, and asked if The Space would be willing to participate in the run this year. Well, duh, Michele; the answer is ‘duh’. Tara Henderson, who’s been working out at The Space with Annie and Mart for several years now, is a Pediatric Oncologist at The University of Chicago and, among many of her accolades, is a major part of the groundbreaking research being done in the fight against pediatric cancer. Make sure you give her a good ol’ high five or ask her to do 35 pushups next time you see her (at the gym or otherwise). |
